F.X. MAYR student and co-founder of the Health Centre F.X. MAYR & more®

The student who became a forerunner: Dr. med. Erich Rauch (1922 – 2003) was one of the most important students of Franz Xaver MAYR. Born in Graz, he got to know and value MAYR when he was training to be a general practitioner.

Over the years Rauch developed the MAYR diagnosis and regeneration therapies further. He supplemented the traditional MAYR Treatment with massages, naturopathic treatments, homeopathy and much more, and developed the “Mild Clearing Diet”.

Together with the German entrepreneur Rolf Deyhle, on 1 August 1976 Rauch founded the first residential centre for the F.X. MAYR Treatment, the present-day Health Centre F.X. MAYR & more®. As our Medical Director he helped countless patients to a better quality of life and better health. In addition, he was the author of several works recognised worldwide as standard texts on MAYR medicine, such as the “Mild Clearing Diet” and from 1984 to 1996 he was the Chairman of the International Association of MAYR Doctors.
