Allow us to introduce ourselves: the Health Centre F.X. MAYR & more® Golf Hotel at Lake Wörthersee

The centre and cradle of MAYR medicine: When it opened on 1 August 1976, the Health Centre F.X. MAYR & more® Golf Hotel at Lake Wörthersee started operations as the first centre in the world for residential F.X. MAYR Treatment. The founders were probably the best-known MAYR student Dr. med. Erich Rauch and the German entrepreneur Consul General Rolf Deyhle. Dr. Rauch was responsible for the medical direction of the Health Centre for many years, and developed MAYR’s concepts further here. Numerous well-known MAYR doctors were trained at our Health Centre.

Today our establishment continues to be the leading such business internationally, and we are the first address where residential MAYR medicine is concerned.

A building with character
Certainly the building is much older than the Health Centre itself. The attractive timber-framed building, which has been retained in its original state, dates from 1936. The walls breathe, the stairs creak, the wood works. This Alpine architecture creates a homely, cosy atmosphere which we want to conserve for our guests. The building is constantly being renovated and modernised with great care and thought.

The building is growing along with its role.
